So you over-tweezed and know it will take months, if not years, for your henna brows to grow back. It happens to the best of us, after all! And you’ve already thought of a solution: a brow stencils kit. It’s basically a template for filling in your brows without looking like you’ve drawn two caterpillars on your face.
An eyebrow stencil is especially useful for persons with impaired vision, prone to tweezing, or simply afraid of overdoing their brows.
Most brow stencils are sold in kits with a variety of possibilities. Choose a pack composed of flexible plastic that will mold your skin, then follow the application directions.
Choose and position one that begins at the front of the brow (hold a pencil straight up from your eye duct; that’s where your brow should begin), arches in a way that frames your face, and terminates if you hold a pencil approximately 45 degrees from the other end of your eye. Keep your strokes light and purposeful as you fill in each brow. You should take your time and not fill them in quickly, as this can make you appear unauthentic.
Fill in your brows as usual (taking caution not to get anything outside of the stencil), then repeat on the opposite side with the same stencil. When you’re finished, remove the stencil.
